Anastasiia Khomich is the founder of Eïght Station rendering and digital studio based in Vancouver, BC. Eïght Station is a place of minimalistic designs & photorealistic renders.
Annaliesse Kelly has been in the world of design for 20 years. She and her team specialize in residential, commercial and development projects that go beyond aesthetics and fleeting trends, creating spaces that are timeless, functional and most importantly—feel like home.
Throughout her award-winning career, Annaliesse’s work has been featured extensively in the press, including in Western Living, The Vancouver Sun, Canadian Home Trends, Rue Magazine and more. AK Design collaborates with clients every step of the way to understand their goals and vision, crafting a detailed concept of their dream space and translating it into a space that truly reflects them and their goals.

Cedric holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and a masters degree in Architecture from the University of British Columbia, where he also taught as an assistant professor in the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. He worked for the architect Daniel Liebeskind and Müller Knippscheld Wehburg Landscape Architects in Berlin, Germany after graduating. He has served on design review committees for the District of West Vancouver and the District of North Vancouver. He is now an Accredited Passivhaus designer, pioneering sustainability and low energy design in Vancouver.

(he/they) Corey Klassen is the Principal Designer and founder of Articulated Design Studio. His areas of focus as an interior designer are kitchen and bath design, renovation design, corporate offices, and design team leadership. As an experienced interior design educator, Corey’s attention is on integrating the standards of the interior design industry’s professional practice areas with the more technical aspects within the overall design process. Corey regularly attends lectures and professional development courses on health, safety, and welfare in addition to sustainable building, passive housing design, and building codes.
Corey comes from a long line of creatives, including draftspeople, custom home builders, tailors, window dressing designers, floral designers, and artists. Growing up in southeastern Manitoba, they always found something to construct, whether it was in the sandbox, painting a wall, a snowbank, or with LEGO blocks. Much of these formations lent Corey naturally to architectural drafting and graphic design, notably earning an internship at Cortinage & Co Architects (Winnipeg, MB) at just 17 years old.
With nearly 20 years of industry experience, he started Corey Klassen Interior Design in 2011 (now Articulated Design Studio) and has designed trade show booths, won 17 design awards for their kitchens and bathrooms, been featured in international advertising campaigns, and designed various commercial spaces. Now, Corey lends themselves to brand collaborations and course development at the corporate level and frequently lectures on topics of space planning, design fundamentals, kitchen and bath design, professional practices, and construction drawings.
Melanie is a Senior Project Manager at BIM Academy, specializing in building information modelling (BIM) and information management according to ISO 19650. Melanie manages several projects across multiple sectors globally and works closely with international clients to develop digital strategies for project and asset management. Her current projects include working with Fraser Health Authority in British Columbia and several NHS Trusts in the UK as part of the New Hospitals Programme. Melanie’s specialisms include change management, standardization and digital collaboration, and she acts as Regional Lead for Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the UK for Women in BIM (WIB). Melanie holds a PhD from Edinburgh Napier University (ENU) which looked into the micro-level factors to an effective macro-level diffusion of BIM, including the gap between perceived and actual efficacy of BIM understanding and skills. She is also an award-winning graduate of ENU’s Architectural Technology programme, having obtained a first-class Honours degree in 2015.
Emily supports the residential interior designer market with colour and paint specifications, she also provides continuing education for designers and industry partners. She works with the Canadian design account team and is dedicated to the exploration of colour and trends with the Sherwin-Williams colour forecast team. Throughout her 10 + year career with Sherwin-Williams, Emily has become a certified presenter of the International Design Continuing Education Council, an Industry Committee Member of the Interior Designers of Canada, a National Board member of the Decorators and Designers Association of Canada and an Emerging Professionals Committee member of the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario. She currently holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from OCAD University in Toronto.
As Co-Studio Director for Gensler’s Vancouver office, Jessica brings over 18 years of expertise in workplace design, project management, strategy, and change management services, and has successfully implemented projects in Canada, the U.S., U.K., and Asia. She has amassed a portfolio of legal, financial, professional services, technology, life sciences, residential, and convention centre projects – working with clients such as HP, Johnson & Johnson, Netflix, Linklaters, LEGO, Royal Mail, Westpac, TD, CIBC, TELUS, HSBC, Micron, and GSK.
Jessica holds a Bachelor of Applied Design in Interior Design (BID) and is a LEED AP. She relocated back to Vancouver after living in London and Singapore for nine years. Her passion for travel, people, and culture is ingrained in her efforts and evident in her belief that “it’s a small world and our relationships are global.”
As Client Relationships Leader for Gensler’s Vancouver office, Michelle directs strategic business planning and drives business development through ongoing industry engagement, manages the creative efforts on workplace and interiors projects, and oversees the early design phases to ensure success. Michelle has spent most of her 25-year career as a motivated relationship builder, focused on uncovering client challenges and executing strategic, measurable solutions. She brings experience in building and coaching a diverse team of cross-functional individuals and guiding how they partner with clients across a diverse breadth of practices including office, mixed-use, residential, professional services, sciences, technology, entertainment, and education spaces. Michelle is an active participant with NAIOP and currently serves on the Board of Directors for CREW Vancouver.

Robin is passionate about following her curiosities and sharing her love of learning with others.

Robyn is also Board Chair for the IESBC Vision Awards, local chapter, overseeing Lighting Design Submissions to IES National.
Ryan Bloom has been a dedicated and passionate entrepreneur since building his first business, a mobile lemonade stand, at the age of six. He has leveraged his love for people, food, design and relationships into unique business concepts and brands including Urban Bonfire, founded in 2013. In addition to his business passions, Ryan is considered an outdoor cooking and entertainment industry expert and is a highly sought-after keynote speaker, podcaster and mentor to young entrepreneurs. He resides in Montreal, Canada with his wife, Sara and their two children, Liam and Kobe.
Saba Farman is the founder of the East Van Boulevard Gardens walking tour series. The series of walking tours takes place annually in the spring with full proceeds benefitting the Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House. But this isn’t your typical garden tour, as Farmand discusses environmental education, nature awareness and urban literacy alongside hyper-local history. The gardens are microcosms of place and community.
The little scrap of city land between the sidewalk and the road may not look like much, but with some careful planting they can be home to thriving boulevard gardens.
It’s these interactions between public land and private gardening that intrigued landscape architect Saba Farmand, who in 2019 started documenting “each and every” boulevard garden in East Vancouver on his Instagram account, @eastvan_blvd_gardens.

Sebastien is a senior, NCQLP Certified Lighting Designer, founder and principal of ThinkL Studio with 14 years of experience. His background in lighting design, electrical contracting and engineering, and lighting controls enables him to foresee the outcome of small to large-scale projects, composing lighting schemes based on the design team and client’s vision within the project schedule and budget. Sebastien’s mission as a Lighting Consultant and Educator is to offer lighting services for every project regardless of budget and scale.
Trisha Isabey is the Founder and Creative Director at award winning Isabey Interiors. This sought-after designer shares more than a decade of experience, with a diverse and extensive portfolio including custom homes, multi-family developments and commercial projects. Her multi award-winning company specializes now in both residential and commercial designs, focusing on personality and style, while maximizing function and liveability.
Trisha has now expanded the Isabey Collective to offer a furniture and home decor store, called Furnish by Isabey Interiors, and a custom artisan gifting company called Furnish for You, as well as Isabey Home, a collaborative build and design company. The Isabey Collective is the evolution of 4 companies coming together, creating a complete home solution. These additions now bring the process full-circle for Trisha and her clients by servicing the entire build, from concept of construction drawings to complete furniture and decor packages.
