Kitchen Design for the Home Chef

Speaker: Alison Kent, the Home Kitchen, Chef Jonathan Kinney, Northwest Culinary Academy, Catherine Maxwell, Midland Appliance

With the continued rise of restaurant culture, Michelin-level cookbooks at hand, and professional classes readily available, the Home Cook has been elevating their craft to levels rivaling the professional Chef at Home. But, has Kitchen Design evolved with these expanded needs? The serious Home Chef has different priorities than the typical home cook, from heavy-duty appliances to countertop space and more. In this panel talk along with Chef Jonathan Kinney of Northwest Culinary Academy and Catherine Maxwell of Midland Appliance, we’re going to explore some of the particular design aspects of a true ‘Chef’s Kitchen’.
