Heim Furniture‘s design work entitled “Reading Chair” will be featured in IDS Vancouver’s fan-favorite Prototype group juried exhibition.

Prototype is located next to the Studio North section in the south west corner of the show floor.

About Reading Chair:
“Inspired by the greats of Danish modern design, my aim with this piece was to create a sense of warmth and lightness, while maintaining a simple form and paying special attention to subtle details. The shape and posture of the Reading Chair is meant for active use, rather than the pure relaxation that other lounge chairs might inspire. It is made from locally reclaimed Arbutus and imported Danish paper cord. This chair would be most at home in a patch of sun next to a window, with a selection of reading material within arms reach. “
